Just some updates before I try to get some more sleep.
In regards to 'Luggage-gate' before we left Albequerque Clara checked in with the hotel in Oklahoma City and someone did turn in the bag. We think. The woman she talked to described it as 'floral?' but it's defintely more striped. They're FedEx-ing it to us, so we'll see.
And in regards to 'Flip Flop-gate' we replaced Dante's sandals with new fancy ones from Wal Mart. You don't have to worry - I didn't make him pee out the window.
More about Louis the Pug. That dog is AH-MAZ-ING. He never pooped or peed in the car or the hotels. Only 2 or 3 times did he ever bark - and that was mostly at thunder. He got out and did his business when we stopped and never complained. If I ever make this trip again I'm leaving the 8 year old behind and bringing a couple pugs. As someone who REALLY does not like dogs, I'm majorly impressed by this one, that's for sure!

Huray !!! I knew someone would find the bag. I love this blog. Makes me feel like being a part of the trip. Happy to hear Dante got new flip flops ( I know he would have loved to pee out the widow if given the chance...LOL.
